I wear hats for different occasions.
I’ve got something warm and cosy for braving the cold in the winter. I wear a cap for playing sports outdoors or for a casual drink on a sunny spring day and a sun hat for wearing to picnics or events on a hot day in the summer.
Most of us do. And you probably have a favourite hat that suits you best or it’s just the most comfortable.
We also wear different hats for the different roles we play in life. (These are the invisible kind.)
Your “dad hat” will be different from your “partner hat” and you probably make sure that you take your “work hat” off before spending time with friends or family.
Just like in your private life, you wear different “hats” in your professional life too.
